Keynote Announcement – SAS’s Reggie Townsend on the Ethics of AI
As policymakers work to understand and manage the risks of AI, companies in the U.S. are already agreeing to voluntary safeguards to govern the development and use of this new technology.
As that happens, the Canadian Leadership Congress is pleased to announce that Reggie Townsend, Vice President, Data Ethics with SAS, will be a keynote speaker at the 2024 International Best Practices Forum being held in Victoria, BC, from October 11-13.
Townsend was recently named to the US National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee to advise the U.S. president on AI‑related issues. He’ll share his insights into the ethical questions and challenges that come with widespread use of this rapidly evolving technology — and what organizations can do to address them.
