Alistair Almeida is Segment Lead, Asset Owners for CIBC Mellon. Alistair is responsible for growing CIBC Mellon’s Asset Owners market share, attracting new clients, and connecting with and supporting multi-national pension plans in Canada.
Alistair has held a number of progressively senior roles across CIBC Mellon, including leading the relationship management team responsible for strategic funds as well as overseeing CIBC Mellon’s global financial institutions practice.
Alistair joined CIBC Mellon in 2007 from RBC, where he was Director of Relationship Management for U.S. and Canadian Investment Managers. Alistair has more than 30 years of experience managing institutional clients across the globe, including positions held in Toronto, London, and Singapore. He holds an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management.

Andrew brings over 10 years of experience in DB pension sustainability and risk management from both consulting and life insurance industries. As Director, Funding and Risk Management, he is responsible for providing expertise in funding policy, asset liability modelling, strategic risk management, and related governance for the purposes of mitigating risk and identifying strategic opportunities in relation to the Plan.
Andrew graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a CFA charterholder.
